Hi Karallee and Don,
Thanks for testing the latest development changes this morning. As of noon today, we have fixed all the issues.
If there is anything else you find, do let me know.
Thanks!
Yuen

Good morning.
Yuen, are you still coming in today? I called your office, but no answer.
Don, it is important to finish our development work and testing by 3pm today because the development database is being destroyed in prep for the 3 tier environment. I must have all development work migrated to another database by the 4pm today. If we do not complete our work today, development cannot resume until December 13th, pushing back the web component migration to Production to Dec 15th or even later.

Don,
That might be so but with the architectural changes VPN would stop working. Even the IT group has to be very careful when making changes as Test is going and Development is coming to replace it. With the refresh from production to development having developers outside of our group only complicates the project and increases the risk of affecting users. Our best professional recommendation is that we manage the environment with minimal exposure to users. Therefore in this case we have chosen to limit VPN until the environment is stable.
I hope this helps.
ThanksMarcel

I know that the scheduled meeting was set by your staff for today. Being reminded that there is a tight deadline does not assist the situation. If the access was retained, the schedule set by Karalee would finished by now and we would be in production.

Don,
Access is not an issue. We have scheduled time this morning to work directly with the contractor and can easily complete the work. The issue is that we have two project managers (yourself and John) that could help to ensure that we can get working on it as agreed to. Had we realized that times were changing; yes we could have made other arrangements but since we didn't we are now required to get this completed today. Otherwise, implementation will be impacted by the whole architecture project.
We have set aside resources here at Scotia Place that are waiting to work on these changes and only want to get working on it.
John, Michael, Don is there something you can do to help us?
ThanksMarcel

I am fully aware of the tight time frames. If the access was retained we would not be in this situation. My day is yours with the exception of the lunch period where I will be attending the POSSE Steering Committee meeting.

Perhaps you should call John Boonstra. If the work is not done, tested and signed off by 3pm today, I will not move the code into Production.

I agree. I expect Yuen at your office this morning. Please call me when he arrives. I agree and insist that we get it in by end of today. I have all day , except the lunch hour, to work with you. Lunch is the POSSE Steering Committee.
